On May 14, at the University of Almeria, the Fundación Patrimonio Natural, Biodiversidad y Cambio Global (Natural Heritage, Biodiversity and Global Change Foundation) and LafargeHolcim held a seminar on the protection and promotion of biodiversity in the quarries of the LafargeHolcim group in Carboneras, showing the BIRS (Biodiversity Indicator & Reporting System) as a system for assessing the evolution of biodiversity.
With all this, the aim was to show how, through the knowledge of each exploitation area and its environment, the methodology to be used is adapted by analyzing how nature evolves to generate biodiversity.
In the following link you will find the program carried out.
